Judy Harrison and High Impact

Judy Harrison and High Impact is Northern Michigan’s favorite high energy country music band. They have been together since the debut of their first CD “A Satisfied Me” in 1997. Their second CD “The Girl Most Likely To” (a Detroit Music Awards nominee in 3 categories) was released in 2001. Their third CD “Soccer Mom Riot” was released in 2004 and includes fan favorites, Rocky Top and Amazing Grace. There latest CD, “Unwrapped”, was released in 2006 and features classic Christmas favorites. Many of High Impacts songs are getting airplay locally and overseas in New Zealand, Belgium, Australia and more.

Based in Traverse City, MI., the band spends a lot of time traveling throughout the state bringing their high energy shows to fairs, festivals, corporate events and more. They have opened for such names as Alan Jackson, Tracy Lawrence, Juice Newton, and Sammy Kershaw to name a few.

What makes High Impact different from most county bands is they have a fully choreographed show that is great for all ages. People can feel free to dance or have just as much fun watching the action on stage. It’s far more than just a listening experience!

High Impact is proud to have ultra-talented musicians who bring with them countless years of professional experience. Band members include Clark Harner on drums, Marshall Cronican-Walker on bass guitar, Susan Nunn on keyboards and Don Church on lead guitar. The back-up singer/dancers include Sherry McCarty, Erica Stegenga, and Jennifer Allen.

Energetic, fun and fresh are just a few of the words used to describe Judy Harrison and High Impact. Their songs feature Judy’s strong, clear, easy to listen to vocals enhanced with tight harmonies and musicianship.
